World's Largest Spacecraft Welding Tool

Our tour stopped at the Vertical Assembly Center at NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility where we were able to see the world's largest spacecraft welding tool. The 170-foot-tall, 78-foot-wide structure will be used to build the core stage of the Space Launch System (SLS).
