STS-134 Endeavour Launch NASA Tweetup
In 2011, I was one of 150 civilians chosen by NASA to attend the final launch of the Space Shuttle Endeavour from Kennedy Space Center. We were given access from the press site, , 3 miles from the launch pad. This is as close as any civilian can get to the shuttle. This photo gallery chronicles my trip.
